A conference reflecting on 25 years of NZSL interpreting, teaching, and development.

AUT, along with partners NZSLTA, SLIANZ, and Victoria University of Wellington, will be hosting a 3-day conference in Auckland in November 2017. We will be celebrating the 25 years running of the sign language interpreting programme at AUT, and the development and progress of NZSL teaching and interpreting in NZ.

Whether it be a wedding, funeral, baby christening, or even just interpreting a karakia, this workshop is for you. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to receive P.D from two very experienced Australian interpreter trainers.  

This workshop will focus on the meaning behind Catholic teachings and traditions as a foundation to learning practical skills for interpreting in religious situations
